Chennai, 27^th October, 2015: Tamil Nadu’s very own Complan Boy and India’s leading cricketer, R. Ashwin unveiled the first ever largest Complan Cup and announced a city wide hunt for ‘Complan Kids’. This is no simple cup, but the first ever live hoarding on a cup. He invited mothers in Tamil Nadu to send in photographs of their Complan boy/girl and all pictures will be pasted on the cup.  

R. Ashwin shared that he is proud to be a Complan Boy because he grew up drinking Complan and that he is delighted that his and Tamil Nadu’s favorite Classic Chocolate flavor is back in Tamil Nadu!

The hunt for ‘Complan Kids’ was initiated with an intention to bring awareness about the importance of a complete nutritious diet for a growing child, especially when children may not finish their meals and thereby end up not getting sufficient nutrition.  

The deadline to submit photographs for the city-wide hunt is November 15^th 2015. Mothers submitting their entries will also stand to get a personalized replica of the Complan cup with pictures of Complan kids along with the R.Ashwin’s signature so they can give the Complete Planned Milk Drink to their kids in the collectible Complan Cup.  Ten lucky kids will also stand to have a meet and greet with R. Ashwin.

Nutrition is a primary concern among mothers when it comes to their child’s diet. Growing children need much more nutrition and mothers in Tamil Nadu really care about giving their kids complete nutrition to meet their needs to grow well. But kids may leave their meal unfinished or may prefer to eat junk food. Lack of complete nutrition affects the overall growth and development. திருச்சி சமயபுரத்தை அடுத்த இருங்களூர் பகுதியில் சாலையில் நிறுத்தப்பட்டிருந்த லாரி மீது பேருந்து மோதிய விபத்தில் அரசுப்பேருந்து ஓட்டுநர், லாரி ஓட்டுநர் ஆகியோர் மீது 3 பிரிவுகளின் கீழ் வழக்குப்பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது.

அவர்களிடம் காவல்துறையினர் தொடர்ந்து விசாரணை மேற்கொண்டு வருகின்றனர். இந்த விபத்தில் இறந்த 9 பேரின் உடல்கள் அவரவர் உறவினர்களிடம் ஒப்படைக்கப்பட்டன. சென்னையில் இருந்து நாகர்கோவில் நோக்கிச் சென்ற அரசு விரைவுப் பேருந்து, இருங்களூர் என்ற இடத்தில் நேற்றிரவு சாலையோரம் இரும்புக்கம்பிகளுடன் நிறுத்தப்பட்டிருந்த லாரி மீது மோதியது. இந்த விபத்தில் 2 பெண்கள் உட்பட 9 பேர் உயிரிழந்தனர்.
இந்நிலையில், இந்த விபத்தில் காயமடைந்து மருத்துவமனையின் அனுமதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளவர்களை போக்குவரத்துத்துறை அமைச்சர் தங்கமணி நேரில் சந்தித்து ஆறுதல் கூறினார். இதையடுத்துச் செய்தியாளர்களுக்குப் பேட்டி அளித்த அவர், காயமடைந்தவர்களின் சிகிச்சைக்கு ஆகும் செலவை அரசே ஏற்கும் என்று தெரிவித்தார்.

MRTS train engine catches fire in Perungudi

CHENNAI: Passengers of a Mass Rapid Transit System train bound for Chennai Beach from Velacherry on Wednesday had a narrow escape after one of the bogies caught fire, officials said. No one was injured, they said. 
"The incident occurred around 8.35am near Perungudi. The train was moving towards Beach station. Since, it is a holiday (on account of Ayudha Pooja), there were not many passengers," a top official said."When the incident occurred the driver stopped the train immediately. One of the bogies in the middle caught fire and it is damaged," he said. 

சென்னையில் பறக்கும் ரயிலில் ஏற்பட்ட தீ விபத்திற்கு தொழில்நுட்ப கோளாறு காரணம் என்பது தெரியவந்துள்ளது.

சென்னை ரயில்வே கோட்ட மேலாளர் அனுபம்சர்மா ஆய்வு நடத்திய பிறகு செய்தியாளர்களிடம் இதனை தெரிவித்தார். மேலும், இது குறித்து விரிவான விசாரணை நடத்தப்படும் என்றும் அவர் தெரிவித்தார்.

தீ விபத்து ஏற்பட்ட ரயில், 9 பெட்டிகளைக் கொண்டது. அதில் முன் மற்றும் பின்பகுதியில் தலா ஒரு என்ஜினும், மையப்பகுதியில் ஒரு என்ஜினும் பொருத்தப்பட்டிருக்கும்.

இதில் மையப்பகுதியிலுள்ள எஞ்ஜினில் தீ விபத்து ஏற்பட்டது. விபத்து குறித்து ரயில் ஓட்டுநர் பிரணாப்குமார் மற்றும் பாதுகாவலர் கத்தாவிடம் ரயில்வே அதிகாரிகள் விசாரணை நடத்தினர்.

பல்லாவரம் ரயில் நிலையத்தில் பயங்கரம் : பெண்ணை கேலி செய்ததை தட்டிக்கேட்டவர் குத்தி கொலை

பல்லாவரம் ரயில் நிலையத்தில், பழ வியாபாரம் செய்யும் பெண்ணிடம் அத்துமீறி தவறாக நடந்துக்கொண்ட கும்பலை தட்டிக் கேட்ட வாலிபரை, அந்த கும்பல் கொடூரமாக குத்தி கொலை செய்த சம்பவம் பெரும் பரபரப்பை ஏற்படுத்தியுள்ளது.

பல்லாவரம் ரயில் நிலையத்தில் நேற்று முன் தினம் இரவு 9.30 மணி அளவில் ரெயில் நிலையம் பரபரப்பாக இயங்கி கொண்டிருந்த நேரத்தில் 4 பேர் கொண்ட ரவுடிக்கும்பல் வழிப்பறி சம்பவத்தில் துணிச்சலுடன் ஈடுபட்டது.

ராமமூர்த்தி என்பவரை தாக்கி, அவரது செல்போன், ரூ. 5 ஆயிரம் பணம் ஆகியவற்றை பறித்த அக்கும்பலை சேர்ந்தவர்கள், பழ வியாபாரம் செய்து வரும் பெண்ணிடம் கடுமையாக நடந்து கொண்டுள்ளனர்.

அந்த பெண்ணின் கையை பிடித்து இழுத்து அவரை தூக்கிச் சென்று கற்பழிக்கவும் அக்கும்பல் திட்டம் போட்டு செயல்பட்டது. இதனை தட்டிக்கேட்ட போது. அப்போது இதனை ஜான்சன் என்ற வாலிபர் தட்டிக்கேட்டார். போதையில் இருந்த அந்த 4 பேர் கொண்ட கும்பல், நீ என்ன பெரிய ஆளா என்று கேட்டு அவரிடம் தகராறு செய்தனர். பின்னர் பொது மக்கள் முன்னிலையிலேயே அக்கும்பல் ஜான்சனை சரமாரியாக தாக்கியது. இதில் வலி தாங்க முடியாமல் அலறி துடித்த அவரை 4 பேரும் சேர்ந்து தண்டவாளம் வழியாக தரதரவென இழுத்துச் சென்றனர்.

பின்னர் ரயில் நிலையம் அருகில் புதர் மண்டி கிடக்கும் பகுதியில் வைத்து ஜான்சனை அவர்கள் சரமாரியாக கத்தியால் குத்தி கொடூரமாக கொலை செய்தனர். பின்னர் 4 பேரும் அங்கிருந்து தப்பி தலைமறைவானார்கள்.

இந்த சம்பவத்தால், பெண் பயணிகளிடையே பெரும் அச்சம் ஏற்பட்டுள்ளது. சம்பவம் நடந்து இரண்டு நாட்கள் ஆகியும் மக்களிடையே ஏற்பட்ட பீதி குறைந்தபாடியில்லை.

இந்த நிலையில், கொலைக்காரகள் யார்? என்பதை அடையாளம் கண்டுள்ள போலீஸ், அவர்களை விரைவில் கைது செய்து, அவர்களுக்கு உரிய தண்டனையைப் பெற்று தருவோம், என்று தெரிவித்துள்ளது.

இக்கொலை சம்பவம் தொடர்பாக ரயில்வே உயர் போலீஸ் அதிகாரி ஒருவர் கூறுகையில், “ஜான்சனை குத்தி கொலை செய்த வாலிபர்கள் அப்பகுதியில் எப்போதும் சுற்றித் திரிபவர்கள்தான் என்று ரெயில் நிலைய பகுதியில் வியாபாரம் செய்து வருபவர்கள் தெரிவித்துள்ளனர்.

ஜான்சன் அடித்து இழுத்துச்செல்லப்படுவதை சிலர் நேரில் பார்த்துள்ளனர். அவர்கள் சொன்ன சாட்சியங்களின் அடிப்படையிலேயே கொலையாளிகள் இவர்கள் தான் என்று முடிவு செய்துள்ளோம். 3 பேர் அடையாளம் காணப்பட்டுள்ள நிலையில் இன்னும் ஒருவர் மட்டும் யார் என்று தெரியவில்லை.

அவரது முகத்தில் வெட்டுக்காயம் இருந்ததாக நேரில் பார்த்த சிலர் தெரிவித்துள்ளனர். இந்த அடையாளத்தை வைத்து விசாரணை நடத்தி வருகிறோம். கொலையாளிகளை கைது செய்து வழக்கு விசாரணையை விரைந்து முடிக்கவும் திட்டமிட்டுள்ளோம்.

இச்சம்பவத்துக்கு பின்னர் ரெயில் நிலையங்கள் மற்றும் அதனை சுற்றியுள்ள பகுதிகளில் பாதுகாப்பு ஏற்பாடுகள் பலப்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளன. எனவே பயணிகள் அச்சப்பட தேவையில்லை” என்று தெரிவித்தார்.
